Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These terms form an agreement between you and Foundry Systems Ltd, trading as Trusted Matches (“Trusted Matches”, “we”, “us”). By using the platform or creating an account, you agree to these terms. You must be at least 18 years old.

2. Our role

Trusted Matches is a lead-generation and matching platform connecting customers with independent professionals. We facilitate introductions and communications but are not a party to contracts for work between customers and professionals. Professionals are not our employees or agents.

3. Accounts

• You must provide accurate, current information and keep it updated.
• You are responsible for your credentials and activity under your account.
• You must not create duplicate accounts to evade restrictions or charges.
• We may verify identities, businesses, qualifications and insurance information.

4. Customer responsibilities

• Submit only genuine requests for services you intend to obtain.
• Provide accurate details and respond reasonably to matched professionals.
• Check a professional's identity, qualifications, insurance and suitability before hiring.
• Agree the scope, price and terms of work directly with the professional.

5. Professional responsibilities

• Be legally authorised, qualified and appropriately insured for advertised services.
• Keep profile, availability, pricing and business information accurate.
• Use unlocked contact details only to respond to the relevant customer request.
• Comply with consumer, tax, licensing, safety and data protection laws.

6. Credits and payments

Professionals use credits to unlock lead contact details. The required credits and price are shown before purchase or unlock. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred. Credit purchases are generally non-refundable, except where we approve a refund under our invalid-lead or dispute process. Stripe processes payments; its terms may also apply.

7. Content and reviews

You retain ownership of content you submit and grant us a non-exclusive licence to host, process and display it for operating and promoting the platform. Reviews must be honest and based on a genuine experience. We may moderate or remove unlawful, misleading or abusive content.

8. Prohibited conduct

You must not commit fraud, submit fake leads or reviews, harass users, send spam, scrape the platform, misuse personal data, introduce malware, bypass security or use the service for unlawful purposes.

9. Suspension and termination

You may close your account through the available account controls or by contacting support. We may restrict, suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary for safety, non-payment, legal compliance or a breach of these terms. Rights and obligations intended to survive termination remain in effect.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. Subject to that, we are not responsible for work arranged between users or for indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability arising from the platform will not exceed the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months.

11. Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and its courts have jurisdiction. We may update these terms and will give reasonable notice of material changes. Continued use after the effective date means the updated terms apply.
